Modern Urinal Cartridge Siphon Designed For Waterless Urinal Systems. The cartridge HB1 combines reliable liquid Siphon with state of the art membrane technology. Chemicals are no longer required, because of the design and technology of the HB1 cartridge. The cartridge has an expected life cycle of 8.000 to 12.000 uses.

• The HB-1 siphon waterless urinal cartridge is made out of APS plastic and is delivered with a peripheral sealing ring which is made out of rubber.
• To insert the cartridge it must be applied from above into the urinal & afterwards you have to add ½ litter of water – the filter is now immediately ready for usage.

Waterless Urinal Cartridge Function:

• The urine bubbles through the smooth surface of the urinal into the filter of the siphon. Through the openings in the upper siphon cartridge the urine reaches the special membrane seal inside and flows through it.
• As a result no unpleasant odours may escape from the first siphon-chamber. Channel gases are retained by the second siphon-chamber which provides a water height of 6 cm and offers hereby an additional protection against flue gas distribution in case of fire.
• After passing the siphoning least the urine runs through the lower opening of the cartridge into the ABS housing of the urinal into the running pipe system.

Waterless Urinal Cartridge Cleaning Instructions:

• The Urinals should be cleaned every day by a sponge or a soft brush as conventional toilet-facilities are cleaned.
• We recommend our Renergise Super-Plus-Antibacterial cleaner.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners but only liquid cleaners which are also used for goods made out of plastic or acryl.
• Once a month the siphon-cartridge must be removed from the urinal to clean the ABS-housing of the urinal with Renergise Super-Plus-Antibacterial.
• Afterwards pour 2-3 litters of warm water into the urinal.

Note that if the filter is inserted in the Urinal, don´t put larger quantities of water into the Urinal. Don´t use water or any other air freshener in the Urinal. If you use chemicals, acids, alkalis or by cleaning of vomitus, please first remove the filter before cleaning the urinal!
